Become Lord & Lady Crawley At Cannizaro House

Become Lord & Lady Crawley At Cannizaro House

As the September 22nd airdate of Downton Abbey is just around the corner, Cannizaro House invites guests to celebrate the return of Downton by experiencing life as a Lord and Lady, a Duke and Duchess, reliving the style and feel of old English grandeur right here in London.

Guests are able to exclusively hire Wimbledon’s iconic Cannizaro House and play host in the manner that Viscounts and Dukes, Counts and Prime Ministers have done before. Lord Tennyson, Henry James, Oscar Wilde and the occasional mistress of the King have all slept here, and now Cannizaro House is now turning over the keys.

It’s a glorious place to celebrate.

Indeed, from the moment guests pull into the long and winding driveway they are transported to an earlier, golden age of England. Having recently undergone a complete renovation, the property boasts a 300 year old history combined with a spectacularly fresh look. Perched proudly and majestically on 34 acres of parkland, Cannizaro House is a grand destination offering up an irresistible combination of a stately country manor and a stylish-rich boutique hotel.

With breath-taking views of the green and manicured grounds, the newly refurbished 46 rooms and bathrooms have all been individually and artfully designed, in keeping with the look and feel of this Grade II listed building. Four poster beds covered in the finest crisp linens, goose down pillows, picture windows, silk wallpapers and deep sunken bathtubs – all work together to ensure that a weekend at Cannizaro House represents English country style at its most luxurious.

Let’s celebrate Downton Abbey together this year.
