KT EXCLUSIVE designers created a collection of vintage wallpaper called SUTTON PLACE for the connoisseurs of classic luxury in the interior design. Central pattern of the collection is a bouquet of flowers, framed by acanthus stems. The flowers look dimensional, like an alive body. Each inflorescence is straightened in the bouquet; it hovers in the air, causing an association with still-life painting of some old European artists.

The very title of the collection points to its exclusivity. Sutton Place is an old castle in England, known since the 16th century, which belonged to the British aristocrat called Weston until the mid-20th century and became a brand after an American billionaire Jean Paul Getty bought it. The owners of the castle changed several times after him, it became prestigious in the rich world to own the Sutton Place.

The walls covered with the wallpaper "SUTTON PLACE" are worth palaces and castles. If the style of "classic luxury" is chosen for an apartment, this wallpaper is the best background and framing for oil paintings of the 18th-19th centuries, for a majestic fireplace decorated with stucco, for an expensive classic furniture, for such ornaments as Faberge eggs, antique mantel clocks, mirrors with gilt frames.

Small vertical bars with the same colour shade as the base coat look harmonious and balanced as a companion wallpaper; it is the same arabesque of acanthus stems, but without bright flowers in the centre, and you have an impression as if they are placed on a cracked with time plaster or marble.

When branches of blossoming trees in pale brown colours are twisted in the Japanese graphic manner on the wallpaper with a beige background, it is not surprising that there are elements of the East in the interior; for example, there is a statue of meditating Buddha on the mantelpiece.

For bedrooms, bouquets are chosen in the gentle tones of lavender and purple lilacs with very faded green leaves, in order not to disturb the overall harmony of peace and quiet - no wonder reveries in English are called "dreams", and in the Russian language there is a word “dremat’” (to have a nap), that is slowly sinking into a sweet dream. What a beautiful bouquet of blue roses for a bedroom or a boudoir! It is an interesting angle of the bright bouquet of red roses and tulips with blue forget-me-nots, when a viewer is looking directly at the center of the bouquet; it even allows you to cover your ceiling with this wallpaper. The bouquets will float in the air above your head, as on the dome lights in the palace in Pavlovsk near St. Petersburg. One can hear music of the higher realms in a room with these bouquets, where luxury is not overwhelming, but gives an impression of complete harmony of the external world and the inner world of your soul.

A special high quality paper made of timber monitored by specialists was prepared for this wallpaper. The degree of environmental friendliness of the production is awarded with the prestigious "ECO-CHIC" prize. The wallpaper is guaranteed to last for a long time, preserving its original look. It is processed with moisture barrier and is not afraid of direct sunlight.

We are grateful to KT Exclusive for the material.
